1912 vintage pumps Titanic era shoes ~ insole reads "Henry Hunington" ~ Fab eggplant color leather ~ large beaded oval shoe buckle *faceted iridescent copper color seed beads* ~ Louis heels *1 7/8" tall* ~ Narrow pointed toes ~ this color is so very difficult to find and these shoes are just beautiful- shoes measure inside: 9 1/2" from the toe to heel
- 2 5/8" across the ball
- shoe size: 6.5
- shoes at quarter inside read: 41-10402 *hand written in ink on a beige colored leather oval*
- beaded shoe buckle: 2 7/8" wide x 2.5" tall
- condition: very good to excellent ~ there are a couple of small issues both of these can be fixed by a good shoe repair man ~ right shoe bottom *leather is cracked at the heel but does not go thru to the inner part of the shoe, this was probably an old repair* also the toe is slightly scuffed and appears to be recent to the shoe ~*~ the left shoe at the back/counter of the heel has an area where the leather is torn 1/2" down, this is not the seam but next to the seem* ~*~ the elastic under the buckles has lost it's elasticity ~ there may be one or tow scuffs to the surface scattered about both shoes, but are minor ~*~ I'm not sure if they are wearable, the rip at the back of the counter may have been caused by some one with the wrong size foot ~ Great for the collector or costume historian
