Vintage Gay 90's hat ~ Circa 1890 to 1900s ~ Royal purple velvet platter hat decorated with ostrich feathers ~ coque sweeps, marabou, purple water silk ribbon, netting and a large purple feather bird with celluloid fruit- Lined in black satin
- elastic tube band to help hold it in place
- measures 20" at the inside at the lining
- Excellent condition for it's age. Not sure if the netting was ever pulled down over the face or if it was intended to be decorative all along the edge of the hat ~ You will not be disappointed
